Regardless of the season that you're in, and whether your babies are big, small, or furry, this time in your life deserves to be captured by something other than a cell phone. Family sessions were born from past wedding couples asking me to document their growing families and now I just can't get enough!
I love creating photos to remind families that in spite of the fact that the floor is covered in cereal, their laundry room pile never seems to shrink, and mom and dad are in a permanent state of exhaustion, their love and their story are beautiful.

If the weather is less than ideal, we'll be in touch to reschedule. Often, when we're scheduling our initial portrait session date, if it works for our calendars, we'll actually set up both a main date and a rain date just to make sure we don't have to postpone your session for very long if the weather is bad on the original date. If you have scheduled a session in your home or in the studio we should be okay to proceed with the original plan.
What do we do if it rains?

The sooner the better, but I am always taking on new clients. Reach out and tell me your story. I can't wait to hear from you!
To reserve your session(s), I'll need a signed contract and deposit if applicable.
How far in advance should we book?

If picking out outfits for photos is overwhelming and you literally try on everything in your closet and piled it on your bed but still felt like you had nothing to wear, you're in luck.
I put together an extensive outfit suggestion guide with tips for every member of the family, but when in doubt wear all the neutrals.
What should we wear?

Unless you've modeled professionally, you're probably going to feel awkward in front of the camera. I take photos for a living, and I still feel like a deer in the headlights when I'm in front of the camera.
You're going to feel awkward at first, but as the session goes on and we coach you through, I know you'll find that being photographed can actually be fun. And don't worry about your kids. I'm well versed in capturing even the busiest of little ones.
We're awkward and our kids don't sit still.

Within a few weeks of your session, you'll receive a link to a digital gallery that will allow you to download high resolution images.
All of my sessions and packages include every digital image. There isn't any upselling or in person sales after your photos are returned to you. They are your to enjoy!
